Loose ChangeHere you can find some songs I created that aren't part of any other albums or collections, and aren't available for streaming anywhere. It's like my private stash! Some of these songs were created by commission, some were just fun little ideas I had. All of these songs are free to download, if you - like me - prefer to collect and organize your music on your own instead of letting an app do it for you!
Made this in an afternoon more or less after finally playing through Beyond Good & Evil. Fuckin' LOVE this track!
This was a commission for my pal Marc, who writes superhero stories about a Torontonian superhero of his own creation by the name of Bluebird! He asked for a sort of superhero TV intro theme, so I borrowed from some of my favorite old-school cartoon intros. It was a fun challenge!
This was a private commission I made years ago for @GameCircleClue on Twitter. They asked for a sort of Scooby-Doo-esque mystery song with a little bit of a spooky atmosphere, so I went with harpsichord and slightly drunk-sounding saxophone to match the old 60s cartoon soundtrack!
A commission for @MChodorek on Twitter for a podcast by the name of Dungeon Minutes! The theme was inspired from a variety of TV show intros from the 60s through the 90s, with the "ticking clock" sound being a reference to 60 Minutes in particular. This was a fun challenge to make, since it forced me to try several different musical styles all in a single 1-minute burst!
Made for a (sadly unfinished) 24-hour game jam a few years back where we planned to make a game about an Octopus escaping from an aquarium. I actually made a bunch of tracks for the game, including a Game Over and Victory jingles, a Title Screen theme, end credits music, the works! Most of them were just different variations of this same theme though, so this track more or less comprises them all!
A song about a fishing minigame, made for Leia of The Fierce Ferrets, who notoriously hates fishing minigames. Lately her and her wife have been playing fishing and fishing adjacent games in an ongoing sub-a-thon on Twitch, and this is the song I imagine playing in her head every time she casts her line out.
